Cooper House Apartments

The Cooper House Apartments, a development of Beyond Shelter, Inc., opened in May of 2010.  This 42 unit building was constructed to provide permanent supportive housing for people who are coming out of homelessness.  The project provides a secure environment with service providers on site to connect residents to the help they need to gain stability in their lives.  Services include case management, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, medication monitoring, life skills training, and job skills training, to name a few.  The project has strong support from the community and involves many third party providers.  Units are furnished and local sponsors have stocked each apartment with basic necessities.

Eide Bailly was engaged by the Fargo Housing & Redevelopment Authority (FHRA) to compile cost data for a group of residents of Cooper House, a supportive housing for the homeless project managed by FHRA. Eide Bailly has compiled data showing the costs to society prior to when these people secured housing at Cooper House and then 12 months during their time housed at Cooper House.
