Mainstream Vouchers
Mainstream vouchers assist non-elderly persons with disabilities. Aside from serving a special population, Mainstream vouchers are administered using the same rules as other housing choice vouchers. Mainstream eligible families must have a person between the ages of 18-61 with a verifiable disability.
Preference is provided to those transitioning out of an institution or other segregated setting, at risk of institutionalization, homelessness or who are currently homeless.
