It was developed as a means of providing well maintained rental housing for eligible low-income families, individuals, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. Do You Qualify for Public Housing?

In order to qualify for public housing, you must meet a variety of income and eligibility requirements. Please review these requirements:

Requirements

At least one member of the household must be 18 years of age or older
You must qualify on the basis of citizenship or the eligible immigrant status of family members.
You must provide social security number information for family members.
You must consent to Fargo Housing’s application process and use of family information as needed for verifications.
You must fall within the income limits set by The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
